Brad Bergford

Education: University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude; University of Denver, Juris Doctorate, R.M. Johnson Scholar, Judicial Fellow   Bar admissions: Supreme Court of Colorado U.S. District Court, District of Colorado (Federal)   Bio: Brad earned his BA in Political Science and Pre-Law at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, where he graduated summa cum laude and was recognized “With Highest Distinction” by the Political Science Department.  Brad earned his juris doctorate from the University of Denver.  At DU Law, Brad was active in several student bar associations, including the Student Trial Lawyers Association, the Federalist Society, and Christian Legal Society, where he served as president. Mr. Bergford was selected as a University of Denver Sturm College of Law Judicial Fellow and served the Honorable Philip McNulty in District Court in the First Judicial District.  Brad has an excellent courtroom record, having achieved numerous victories for his clients.  In addition to running Bergford Law Group, which focuses on civil litigation, including on contracts, torts, and employment, Brad is president of the Colorado chapter of National Lawyers Association and testifies before the Colorado legislature on behalf of the Commission for the Protection of Constitutional Rights.  Brad is also a member of the Civil Rights Section of the Colorado Bar Association. Brad is an Alliance Defending Freedom Blackstone Fellow and Allied Attorney, and he has lectured on free speech issues on behalf of ADF.
